Tuesday Sports Betting Preview

Bangladesh v England – Second ODI
Republic of Ireland v Brazil

We have only two major sporting events taking place today as Bangladesh take on England in the second One Day International of their three game series and Ireland take on Brazil in an International Friendly at the Emirates Stadium – home of Arsenal Football Club.

Bangladesh v England – Second ODI:
England will be looking to wrap up the One Day International series with a win at Dhaka today, as a win will give them an unassailable 2-0 lead with just one game to be played. England triumphed by six wickets on Sunday at Mirpur. Bangladesh put themselves in an excellent to claim a win against England for the first time ever as Tamim Iqbal hit 125, but they were all out for just 228 as his team-mates could not match his endeavour. Captain Alistair Cook and Paul Collingwood were England’s saviours with 64 and 75 Not Out respectively.
Will England repeat this performance today? As touched on above, Bangladesh have never beaten England and the odds show this fact, with Bangladesh at best odds of 6.0 to win the game, while England are priced at 1.19 to as low as 1.12 in places!

How do we get value from this game then? The BetRepublic.com cricket expert –Ed Hawkins – suggests backing Eoin Morgan as the top England batsman. You can check the best cricket online betting odds at William Hill.

Republic of Ireland v Brazil:
Ireland will go into this game without influential players Robbie Keane and Richard Dunne after both players picked up knocks in the Old Firm Derby and the Carling Cup Final respectively. Both of these players will be gutted to be missing the game as their last games were in the match in Paris that saw Ireland lose their World Cup playoff tie and they will want to pull on the green of Ireland again to banish that memory. Brazil will be fired up for this game as well as this is their last scheduled fixture before the World Cup kicks off in June and all the players will want to show that they belong in the World Cup squad.

How will the game go? As with International Friendly matches, it’s difficult to predict but I have some value bets for you.

BetRepublic.com Picks: Brazil are best priced to win the game at odds of 1.50, but you can back them to win this game to nil @ 2.50. This is not a big leap as Brazil have kept clean sheets in their last three games and Ireland are missing their best striker in Robbie Keane. My other pick from the game is that Kaka will score for Brazil at anytime, which is best priced at 3.30. He is an extraordinary talent and Ireland will struggle to keep him quiet with their Richard Dunne out of the game.

John O'Shea, Richard Dunne and Robbie Keane will be deinitely out for this friendly and there's no question that Brazil will be fully motivated to show Dunga their qualities to be taken to South Africa.
Handicap is fair - I'd even take a -1.5 cause I expect a win with 2 or more goals by Brazil.
