In the FIFA / Coca Cola World Rankings, Brazil is at first position with 1611 points where as Chile is at 18th position with 888 points. In this match the team which will win that team will move to the quarter-finals and other team will go to home.
In earlier matches of this 2010 FIFA World Cup, Brazil has won starting two matches against Korea DPR and Cote d'Ivoire with 2-1 and 3-1, and in last match Brazil made a goalless draw against Portugal.
Chile also won starting two matches against Honduras and Switzerland with 1-0 goal in two matches, and in last match Chile lost against Spain with 2-1.
