This last friendly match will be Spain’s third, and final, warm up match before the World Cup kicks off and they have defeated Saudi Arabia 3-2 and South Korea 1-0 in the last ten days.
The game against Saudi Arabia saw them play an almost full strength team and they scored three goals, while the game against South Korea saw Vicente del Bosque give some squad players a run out and they ground out a win. With only days to go before the World Cup kicks off I see Spain, like Portugal, look to go for a big win and start the tournament with confidence.
Poland have played two friendly matches since the end of May, with both ending as 0-0 draws against Finland and Serbia. They have a decent squad and have proven that they can defend well but they are not the greatest side at attacking and scoring goals.
Also this is their final game together and many of the players may be thinking of their holidays with them not qualifying for the World Cup. As a result of all of this I see a comfortable Spain win and my money is on Spain to win to nil at 4/6 and over 2.5 goals at odds of 4/7.
