Tomas Berdych will face Rafael Nadal in the finals of Wimbledon Championships 2010 at Centre Court, London. This match will kick off at 14:00 CET.
Tomas Berdych is currently ranked at world no. 13 in the ATP rankings. In the Wimbledon 2010, he is playing as no.12 seed. He performed well in the 2007 Wimbledon singles and reached quarter-finals and in 2005 Wimbledon doubles, he reached 2nd round. Tomas Berdych never won the Grand Slam title in his career so far.
Rafael Nadal is currently ranked at World No. 1 in the ATP rankings and in the Wimbledon 2010, he is playing as no. 2 seed. He won the Wimbledon singles title in 2008 and reached the 2nd round in 2005 Wimbledon doubles. He won the Australian Open title in 2009 and also won five French Open titles. Totally, he won seven grand slam titles in his seven years career.
In the quarter-finals, Tomas Berdych defeated first seed Roger Federer with 6-4, 3-6, 6-1and 6-4 and in semi- finals, he defeated third seed Novak Djokovic with 6-3, 7-6(9) and 6-3. In the quarter-finals, Rafael Nadal defeated Robin Soderling with 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(4) and 6-1 and in semi-finals, he defeated Andy Murray with 6-4, 7-6(6) and 6-4.
