In Western & Southern Financial Group Masters doubles champions, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic lost the match against Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak on Wednesday. In the second round, they lost the match with 7-5 and 6-2.
Last week, the Czech-Slovak was kicked out from the No. 1 team in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup has broken Nestor and Zimonjic four times from 13 opportunities to win the match.
In June, Nestor and Zimonjic won their fifth title of the season at Roland Garros. They defeated their competitors, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan in a Match Tie-break in last year’s Cincinnati final.
Eighth seed, Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski reached to the quarter-finals, beating Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi with 7-5, 7-6 (3).
